Varun, professionally known as VarunRaj, is a Toronto-based Film Editor with nearly a decade of experience crafting compelling visual narratives. His diverse portfolio spans feature films, documentaries, commercials, scripted shorts, digital promos, and branded content. 

In Canada, he has edited multiple documentaries, commercials, and brand campaigns, along with a Punjabi feature film. He has also worked as an Assistant Editor on top-tier TV shows and documentaries.Varun has collaborated with leading studios, including Uninterrupted Canada, Good Karma Company, National Film Board of Canada, Scott Brothers Entertainment, Aircraft Pictures, Thunderbird Entertainment, Northwood Entertainment etc. 

In India, Varun has edited Digital Promos/Behind The Scenes campaigns for big Box Office titles such as the Robot sequel - 2.0 and KGF Chapter 1. 

In the United States, Varun has worked as an Editor for Disney's ABC Digital Media studios editing promotional content for their shows such as Shark Tank, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Scandal, Blackish, the Oscars etc. 

A member of the Directors Guild of Canada and a former mentee in the Canadian Cinema Editors Mentorship Program, Varun holds an MFA in Film Production (Editing emphasis) from Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. Passionate about both the art and technology of post-production, he thrives on shaping stories that resonate.
